My happiness!
Should I hide you in the pupil of my eyes?
Or should I hide you between my lashes?
Should I hide you in the line of my rosary,
If I hide you... Won't you reveal my secrets?
As my tear!
All around me is a garden of love,
I am free of my pains.
All has gone,
My only one,
If I turn into the grass,
Won't you shine on my head?
Being the sun!
I am dreamed!
My dreams are high,
worldly,
As you are mine, my soul as an endless sky,
Your name is a prelude to my destiny!
Won’t be hurry to worship,
If I am Azan!
Won’t rise above the layers of the heavens?
As the Ascension day, as a sun!
Night thoughts
The displeased wind blows the curtain,
And complains that I should rest deeply.
I hear the sound of laughter of the night,
The desire not to let nights be sleepy.
The nights are full of endless dreams,
It wants to enter my mind without allowance.
My stubbornness grows stronger against the night!
I don’t want to give my dreams jealously!
Pillow puts my head on its own head,
And we build long talks about life.
The pillow is my closest confidant
Without us, my room is just a grave!
I am the sea, my pillow is my wave!
Life
Life... Beads lined with time thread,
One side is black and the other side is white,
Love... heart-wrenching stitch,
Soul... A leaf that is shed in the wind!
Don't let the soul turn into dirty leaves,
Don't let the roses turn yellow or freeze.
Endure the storms, endure the pains,
Tomorrow, you will flourish as a great tree!
*Shokhida Yusupova is one of young poetesses, translators and journalists from Uzbekistan. She has been rewarded with the State Prize of “Zulfiya”.Shokhida is an ambassador of the International Federation of Culture and Arts of Singapore ,Young Ambassador of the International Organization for Humanitarian and Creative Affairs of Morocco ,Young Ambassador of CIESART,General Coordinator of Writer’s Capital Foundation on behalf of Uzbekistan;Correspondent of Jizhou International Art Publishing House in Uzbekistan,Ambassador of Indonesia to Uzbekistan Nusantra ,Ambassador of the International Organization "Voces Viento Fiel" of Argentina ,Young Ambassador to the Ministry of Arts and Culture of the Birland. Additionally, she is proudly rewarded with the first place in both as “Best Young Scientist 2021”, and “The best student of the year” among all Commonwealth of Independent Countries. Shokhida accomplished “Sahitya Shree” literary award organized by the India Intercontinental Association in 2018, “Taghreed Fayyad” literary award organized by the Lebanese Cultural Forum, as well as “Cesaret ve teşvik ödülü“ organized by Turk Yayinevi. She studies International journalism and public relations at the University of Journalism and Mass Communication Uzbekistan. She studied Business and Marketing at the Berlin Business Institute, Germany. She is currently studying Leadership and Management course at Harvard University.
